진실은 어둠 속에서 노래했네

심장 한가운데 선 피나무 꼭대기에서

태양은 무르익을 것이라고 진실은 말했네

심장 한가운데 선 피나무 꼭대기에서

두 눈이 태양을 비추어 준다면

우리는 그 노래를 비웃었네

진실을 붙잡아 묶어놓고

바로 그 피나무 아래에서 목을 베어 죽였네

바깥의 또 다른 어둠 속에서

두 눈은 바빴고

아무것도 보지 못했네

The sun it said will ripen

If the eyes shine on it

We mocked the song

Seized and bound truth

And murdered it here under the lime

The eyes were busy

Певала истина у мраку На врху липе насред срца Сунце ће каже сазрети На врху липе насред срца Ако га очи обасјају

Исмејали смо песму Ухватили и везали истину И ту је под липом преклали

Очи су биле запослене Напољу у другоме мраку И ништа нису виделе
