Yoshida Tadao (吉田忠雄, 1908–1993) was the Japanese businessman who founded YKK, the company best known worldwide for zippers.
He started a zipper-processing and sales business called San-es Shokai in Tokyo in 1934; the company later became Yoshida Kogyo, and “YKK” came from the initials of Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha.
